 Home Gym Review are still puzzled to understand how Body Solid have managed to offer this 2 station Body Solid gym sooo cheaply.
In 1998, Consumers Digest Magazine called the Body Solid Gym EXM-2500S the best home gym in its class and awarded it the honor of displaying their "Best Buy" badge. Of course that depends on how you define class. If its by value for money then YES, this gym kicks butt. If its for the actual gym, price aside, there are better gyms out there but they cost more......a lot, lot more.
Even at this price Home Gym Review were pleased to see an uncommon feature has been squeezed into this Body Solid gym. The ab crunch. Now most home gyms say they have an ab crunch but usually its just a strap connected to the lat pulldown or low row. Body Solid have actually included an extra cable attachment above the bench of the pec dec station especially for abs. And there is no reason why you could not use your imagination and get a few more exercises out of it.

articulating pec arms for chest or back/rear shoulders. The pec dec is not the regular padded arm type but instead has handles to be held in a dumbbell fly type exercise. Personally I prefer this type because its easier on the shoulder joints

price, price, price. The EXM-2500S is cheap in price but rich on quality
made from top quality materials
ergonomic sensitive design. That is seats, benches, handles and movement paths are purposely designed to maximize comfort and resemble natural movement
pec dec is not usual padded arm type. Makes it more versatile
ab crunch cable station (uncommon feature in most home gyms)

Cons
the pec dec isn't the normal padded arm type. I know, I know. I just said that was a pro and yes for some, including myself, it is a pro. But some people are absolute pec dec lovers, like one of the team here at Home Gym Review, and won't be satisfied without a regular padded arm type pec dec.
