Body Craft have gotten in on the act as well.

Body Craft have seen the trend towards affordable smith machines, especially combination smith machines. And so developed their own version which they call the Body Craft Linear Bearing Smith Machine.

But of course to out do the competition they have tweaked the frame such that the smith machine guide rods are 7º of vertical. Just the right amount they say to give you a more natural movement.

Pros

• most obvious pro is the versatility. That's the reason these types of gyms came about. So that you could have your cake and eat it too. Or rather have your squats and regular exercises too.
   
• the angled guide rods do feel good. Although it probably takes more than a brief play to appreciate the difference. But it should reduce shuddering which is often a result of the bar being forced up at an angle different to the guide rods
   
• has its own weight tree which is going to save you money
   
• excellent materials
   
• lifetime warranty
   
• low price (especially since Home Gym Review found it at about 42% below retail i.e. $501 off!)

Cons

• Home Gym Review wonders why they didn't include a power rack. It is something they could have added without really increasing the dimensions

Overall

This is a nice quality combination smith machine home gym from one of the best companies out there.
